Overall this is a decent establishment. But why is the front door left open during January on a windy rainy day!? One day you ask to have the door shut and the staff close the door another day the door is secured open because 'the air conditioning is broke'. One day its shut another open. What's the point of creating a cozy atmosphere and having the door open during winter. It's drafty, smoke drifts in from the front tables and the general ambience of sitting by the window is ruined. I personally like to sit by the front window - why bother heating the place if the door is going to be left wide open all afternoon. It would be helpful if a member of senior management could make a decision on this point. And I don't appreciate being fobbed off or lied to on the point of air conditioning being broken when I can clearly feel air blowing out from beneath each unit.
Good choice of drinks, cakes and patisseries. My favourite is simply the custard filled croissants, every bite is just heaven. The Woodley branch has ample seatings, quite clean, nice decor with book shelves. Most importantly, the servers are friendly and helpful
