Just heard today from Michael Phillips that the DVLA are renewing my licence and I can start driving again tomorrow. It was revoked on medical grounds and Michael put in an appeal on my behalf, along with the threat of taking it to court, and with supporting evidence successfully argued that there were in fact no grounds for revoking my licence. Michael handed the case with a great deal of compassion and told me it makes his job worthwhile being able to help people with a successful outcome.
Andrew helped us with our son's drink driving charge; the outcome was the best possible. He has a calm, 'seen it all before' approach that is very reassuring; everything is explained very clearly with plenty of time for questions. Andrew is evidently very familiar with the local courts and is well known to them. I sincerely hope that we don't need a solicitor anytime soon, but I wouldn't hesitate to call Andrew again if we did.
