Mel and her team were the stars of the show at our wedding! Following a delay to our wedding (originally planned for 2020) we we’re excited to get the event underway. Mel did a fantastic job redecorating the venue and really showcased the riverside location to its full potential. Her attention to detail and wonderful customer care really made us feel that our wedding was important to her and we certainly didn’t feel like another event on the conveyor belt. During the day our guests commented on how welcome they felt and how attentive the staff were. Our meetings with Mel, prior to the wedding really helped to let the day run smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a thing when we arrived, she had everything in hand and the venue was even better than we could have hoped for on the day.
We held our wedding at CourtGarden House in May 2021. We originally booked the venue in January 2019 with the previous tenant for the wedding to take place in May 2020. Due to the pandemic, we were not able to get married and had to postpone. We then found out in October 2020 that the company we had been dealing with had lost their tenancy. We are so thankful that Mel took over the tenancy and that we got to be her first wedding. She was a delight to deal with from our very first phone call (we talked for over an hour!) and was so calming when we weren’t sure if we could actually have the wedding at all due to the restrictions. Even though we couldn’t have the day we planned or wanted (we could only have 13 guests plus us 2) and the wedding breakfast had to be held outside on the beautiful terrace and no dancing was allowed, we still had the best day and that was mostly down to Mel ???? Thank you Mel and Lou for a fabulous day - we look forward to having a proper celebration and party with you for our 1 year wedding anniversary next May ????????♂️???????????????????? What a wonderful time we had! The food was incredible, everyone was very nice and professional. It feels great to be back to some kind of normality and be able to share moments like this with family and friends in a stunning place like this one. I highly recommend it.
Court Garden House was the venue for our firm's Christmas Party. We had a really good evening and the venue was perfect - beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere. The food and disco were both good and everyone enjoyed the event.
Peter and Wendy Aldiss nobly stepped into the breach to ensure that our audiences were supplied with interval teas and coffees, when The Marlow Players presented 'Relative Values' by Noel Coward in The Shelley Theatre, Marlow. They did this totally free of charge for our three-night run, thus contributing valuable and much-appreciated support for a traditional Marlow event. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness!
