Excellent experience this weekend. Staff were incredible - kind, helpful and great service without it being too over the top; perfect balance. Room was beautiful. Honestly the quality of the accomodation is something we would have expected from a price tag three times the price we paid for this weekend! Spotless. Food was excellent too - great breakfast options and they have vegan friendly options (and great cocktails for dinner!) We will definitely be back.

Adequate room size especially for business, maybe a bit small for really tall people (headroom). Room was beautifully decorated. Cleaned to brand new on request. Food was excellent in the pub/restaurant. Seems understaffed but the staff they do have are helpful, friendly and professional, nothing is too much trouble.

Food in restaurant was superb and service efficient and friendly. Dog friendly room was very small. How about a covered place in front of door to put dirty boots as nowhere to put them in room. Not enough hooks for towels. Little room to put cases. Bathroom had nowhere to put toothbrush etc. above sink. Design of sink meant that water came off end of sink onto floor. TV on on side wall with no easy position to watch it. Needs to be rethought.

We visited the restaurant for lunch. Pre-booked online, nice and easy. The staff in the restaurant are lovely although at times it could be difficult to get some attention. The food was absolutely cracking, mains and puddings were great size portions and really well cooked food. Very impressive!

The room was OK decoratively.... Modern, clean etc. Room was small/tight, couple of feet either side and at bottom of the King size bed.... Tiny open hanging rail, no drawers .My main issue was that it was in a separate building on the site, not in the main building, I stepped out my room door into the car park area. The floor in my room was laminate so it felt more like a dining room than a bedroom floor with carpet...always had to be wearing footwear as it felt cold. The toilet /shower area was freezing... There was some kind of electric underfloor heating in there but it was switched off at the switch about 9 feet up the wall, even when I turned it on it was very difficult to get it working.... And totally ineffective... So showering and using the toilet was like being in freezing outdoor toilet/shower block. I reported it to reception and nothing was done about it.... So if you ever want to stay here I'd avoid the Stables rooms or I think the Paddock rooms are similar.... Definitely not up to the standard of a business room and definitely not worth 150 quid a night......
